Weeks 1–4
Introduction to Medical Language & Clinical Workflow

Weeks 5–8
Real-Time Charting & EMR Practice
Develop proficiency in medical record documentation, including history of present illness (HPI), review of systems, and physical exam findings. Practice creating accurate SOAP notes, recording patient medical histories, and assisting with specialized documentation for areas like OB/GYN or pediatrics. Gain hands-on EMR experience, entering data for diagnoses, procedures, lab orders, and follow-up instructions under simulated conditions.
Weeks 9–12
Documentation Accuracy,Compliance & Career Preparation
Refine your charting skills with advanced case simulations, timed documentation, and peer/mentor review to improve accuracy and efficiency. Learn HIPAA compliance, confidentiality standards, and medical ethics that guide scribing practices. Complete your training with career readiness — resume building, mock interviews, and best practices for succeeding in fast-paced hospital or outpatient scribe roles.
